Cape Town offers many days of sunshine and at The Walden Suites, when the sun is out, we are surrounded with morning and afternoon sunshine as well as amazing sunsets.
The Rooms
Our minimalistic approach to simplicity in decor, creates a peace of mind approach in every room and suite.
Wooden floors and high ceilings in most rooms offer an airy and spacious feeling whilst 2 of our more modern rooms have natural stone flooring.
All rooms have access to a balcony or terrace, which gives a feeling of being in touch with nature, whether it be SeaView or Mountain View.
Breakfast & Breakfast Terrace
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast from our garden terrace.
Our friendly staff welcomes you with a full breakfast buffet and speciality eggs made to order. Fresh breads, danish and croissants on offer and a very delicious fruit salad. For the little one’s we prepare our special pancakes.
Tea time comes with a very delicious cake on offer.

The Beach
Cape Town offers many beaches, with the 4 Clifton beaches just 15 to 20 minutes walk away and Camps Bay a 5 to 8 minute drive away from our house, you can soak up the sunshine.
For the ocean lovers, Kayaking in the Atlantic is offered from Mouillee point beach, only 30minutes walk away from us. For the more adventurous a day trip to either Bloubergstrand beach (home of kite surfing) or Muizenberg (Surfers Paradise) is a must.
On route to Cape Point nature reserve, do stop over at Boulders Beach (home of the famous Cape Penguins).
Whale watching can be enjoyed on the East Coast from Hermanus & Gaansbaai as a day trip.
On-route to Langebaan beach & its surroundings direction West Coast, spot the a perfect post card view of Table Moutain.
Activities
A holiday in Cape town is never short of activities. Whether you are a beach lover, a scenic lover, music lover or an arts & culture fundi, our Mother City has plenty of HOT SPOTS to offer you and the family. Our cultural markets and food lover markets are very popular and widely enjoyed.
Our Museums and historic walks through the City can also be enjoyed on your own or with a guide. We are surrounded by amazing hiking trails and a beautiful botanical gardens for those who prefer the nature. Take a drive out to the Winelands to enjoy the country and our 1st class wines, where some wine farms offer lazy afternoon picnics.
For the adrenaline junkies, our staff can book a shark cage diving experience, paragliding tandem jump and helicopter tours.
For the little ones’ a visit to the 2 Oceans Aquarium in the Waterfront, adults love this too. Plenty of playing areas around the peninsula to keep them busy. Remember the Penguins at Boulders Beach will definitely put a smile on their faces.There is also a huge variety of sporting activities. Our staff are there to assist with more information and reservations.
For the Culinary lovers, the owners & staff at The Walden Suites are well informed and will provide quite a few recommendations for the most loved restaurants.
