With our special SALT WATER 17metre swimming pool, guest can enjoy some laps or simply relax and enjoy the sunshine. Our pool terrace offers lush greenery if you prefer some shade and our back terrace offers privacy with comfortable sofas and chairs.

With Sea Point Sports Promenade just below us and within walking distance, you can enjoy a morning or evening walk, run or cycle. (Rent a bike available)
The famous Clifton Beaches are just 15 minutes walk away with Camps Bay Beach 5 to 8 minutes’ drive. If you enjoy something more adventurous we are close to amazing hiking trails such as Lions Head Mountain and Table Mountain or be brave with the Paragliders, who often take off from Lions Head or Signal Hill Mountain and land nearby at the Promenade. Our friendly staff can book your day trip tours: THE CAPE OF GOOD HOPE is a must see and best enjoyed FULL DAY but do remember a FULL DAY WINELANDS TOUR is not to be missed either.

The Walden Suites
On the slopes of the Lions Head Mountain (75mtr above sea level), lies the stylish, elegant Villa built in 1923 within the wind-free area of Fresnaye. Fantastic views on to the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Table Bay.
Easy access to, Clifton Beaches, Bantry Bay, Camps Bay, City Center and V&A Waterfront. Just the perfect place for your holiday. House Walden is named by its first owner after the autobiography novel Walden from the American author Henry David Thoreau, then converted into a B&B Guesthouse by the current owners in 2003.
